FUTURE STARS
Boys and Girls Ages 5 and 6 (U-06 and U-07)
Silver Lake Soccer Club is excited to announce our new Future Stars program for the Fall 2013 season. Combining the professional trainers of
UK Elite with parent-coach led scrimmages, our Future Stars program is a great starting point for all kids, ages 5 and 6.
Each Saturday, parent-coach led teams of six will have 30 minutes of technical UK Elite instruction on the field by a UK Elite trainer. They will
use the UK Elite curricula, philosophy and methodologies to develop both the players' and coaches' soccer skills while having a fantastic time. The curriculum for
the season will include ball mastery, dribbling, passing, possession and shielding, shooting, and defending.
After the 30-minute technical session, each team will play a 30-minute 3 vs. 3 game against another Silver Lake Soccer Club team led by their parent-coach. In
addition, parent-coaches will have the opportunity to attend two age-specific coaching clinics.
The Future Stars program will be an eight-week session on Saturdays only. Training sessions and games are team specific and assigned by the league. As with the
previous Future Stars program, teams will be gender specific , formed based on locality and will be led by parent-coaches. All UK Elite trainers,
parent volunteers and coaches will have completed nationwide background checks. All players will receive a uniform and/or t-shirt.
U6 is for Soccer Players who turn 5 on or before 7/31/2013
U7 is for Soccer Players who turn 6 on or before 7/31/2013
